Modeling Mounted Scar Vet BSB

As you probably guessed by the title, I am wondering what is the best (or suggested, rather) way to model a Cold One - mounted Scar Vet with a battle standard. Looking around, I haven't really seen any specific models that are made for this. My best guess would be to just use a Cold One rider and paint him up all fancy-like, but I was wondering if there were any other suggestions or ideas on how to model the fella.

Gw sells an old blood/scar vet on a cold one,
but it's usualy more fun to make one from the cold one cav box.

Indeed, that's yet another project I should put on my "to do" list...

I feel kind of silly now, right after I posted this I found one in google images xD

I don't think I like the model much though.
