Monstrous mounts use a combined wounds/toughness profile with the rider right?
Yet it says when you attack the model, you can attack either the monster or the mount. So you would go for the mount usually as it won't have an armour save, or a low one....
But then it talks about slain mounts and slain riders?!
How can you slay the mount alone if they have a combined wounds profile? Surely you kill both? And what's the point giving the rider a good armour save if people are just going to kill the mount?
I'm so confused! Please help meeeee.
