My Krox!

This is just an update on my army that I started to paint (FINALLY, after half a year) on my kroxigor.
I changed his weapon as I thought it was too small. and the basing is unfinished and some of the model needs some touching up too but here it is!

Oh my god. That is probably one of the best ways to get rid of all those extra standards ever. Also he looks pretty $*(%)ing awesome. Nice colour scheme as usual

I think it looks cool. Kroxigors are meant to be immensely strong (god i wish they still were S7...)

That's the problem with krox, same strength as a Saurus but a huge model?

Anyway, back on subject, great model again excellent idea with the standards making on mean weapon

Thats a very nice krox, I would consider nicking the idea if I had one of the new kroxigor- does anyone else think its strange how the previous Kroxigor looks much scrawnier than our current one and yet has an extra strength point?

That's what happens when you use illegal substances to buff your strength: you look more buff, but are actually weaker :/

And nathanbomb, that's a really creative way to use those standards! It looks awesome, wouldn't want to be on a receiving end of that one, really.

Thanks! that means a lot to me! I'm really pleased with the results and am now doing my second krox whilst some of the saurus are being touched up!

I made that same weapon for my cowboy scar vet but didnt like as it was too big so I removed it a few months ago. I don't know why I hadn't tried it on a Krox!! Also I used a chaos scorcerer's staff from chaos space marines on it. Yours looks much better

well he's with 2 more kroxigor and unit of 27 skinks along with a hero so It's quite easy since he's still how he was (the left side) just a bigger weapon and considering the skinks are small it wont matter.
Also I've tested with another kroxigor behind and it seems to work fine.
