Hey guys, here's the latest piece of terrain that I made! Hope you like it!

The materials used are:
  • an old CD (finally found a use for Nickleback)
  • a cheap plastic dinosaur, available at your local dollar or party supply store
  • coffee stir-sticks
  • spare standard from the Cold One Cavalry box
  • modeling sand, static grass, and clump foliage
  • tracing paper and a hole-punch
  • 'Ardcoat and Soft Gel Gloss Medium
  • paints and washes, of course

Heh, I'll do that, seeing as how I have no money for miniatures. To get my Games Workshop fix, I have to make a lot of terrain (or paint my myriads of unpainted minis, but who wants to do that?)

Nice, looks good. Great work in the water effect.

I think I too am finally reduced to painting the hordes of unfinished models rather than buying more. :P

Nice work! Especially like the water and the bamboo :)

What'd you use as the base for that thing? I failed horribly when I tried to use the stiff back of a notebook for some 'Nid terain and it curled up at the edges.

It's a CD that I glued a piece of paper over to cover the hole in the center.

I like it. I was thinking a long time, how to use old scratched CDs.
