my little army

In think the chest needs a few darker stripes but I love the spear head :)

What you should do is start painting a colour scheme you like. Get an army up and it looks very impressive. Plus the pride of finishing 2000/3000pts of models is a great feeling!

Personally I like the green and red skink colour scheme. But if i wanted to see a colour scheme I would just paint it myself then strip it :D

Try finding a reasonable quick paint scheme you like and crack on and get an army up!

i took your word and painted it red and green. i dont know if it was like this u ment but here it comes, from all directions.




the gold on the shield front is not soppose to be there and isnt acualy on the figure... lol...



 
Get rid of the purple and paint the quill white. would look much cleaner that way. Apart form that its looking good. Take long to paint him?

quill?? took some time. probably gonna paint the skin green instead. is easyer that way...
and ya gonna get rid of the pupel looks strange... =^_^=
 
luv the red dkink and poisen darts,what he mean by quill is the crest...the bit u painted purpele on top of his head ;) otherwise looking good! keep it up and soon youll have a nicly painted army to game with

Like the red skink and although you've said you don't have any I would recommend the washes to you they work well and that is all most of your models seem to need along with being highlighted back up afterwards of course.
 
i have got some devlan mud now. but they hadnt got the green and asurmen wash... :(
 
just got a skink skirmisher warcheaf and a normal skink skirmisher done. =^_^= gonna put op pics tomorrow.
 
I never use colour related washes. All I have only ever used is Badab Black and Gryphonne Sepia. Gives great shading.

Scar vet is almost finished! here are some pics of him. only need to put on the jaws and the small human heads. :D and a little devlan wash :)
