I ended up using green/grey stuff to hold the pieces together, then dumping some super glue in along with it after it dried. Holds pretty solid, takes awhile to get it all together though

i find that putting super glue on the part then putting green stuff on that then waiting fo it to dry then put super glue on the other part and put that on the green stuff. works for me.

Good effort seems a little heavy handed though,

Try getting a thinner brush to do your highlighting with. The skin is much too dark looks like its just pure dark angels green or something, to get a good looking toned skin follow 5 simple steps:

    1. Pick colour you like
    2. Buy a dark, middle and light version of that colour
    3. Base the model in the middle version of the colour (two slightly thinned layers)
    4. Wash the model in a very thin (wash consistancy) of the dark colour
    5. Dry brush the light colour all over the skin (get almost all the paint off the brush before you try drybrushing and be patient with it)

On the shield you have a really good right half with a poor left half if you are careful and build up using several layers of thin paint you will get a good looking bone/white and being patient will keep those cracks in the shield like you did on the right half.

Nice to see your work improving through the blog though =)

    All the best Hiv0r
