I still have a lot to paint, but I want to do some conversions as well. I've never worked with green stuff before so I hope it works out allright.

the paint job is very good IMO, especially the color scheme.

I was wondering however if youve considered going over your old models in ink. It might be that youve added matte varnish or its simply the camera itself, but the areas of color seem to be very flat and monochrome.
 
I haven't used ink or a wash yet, but I was planning to.
I never done it though, so I'm a bit afraid it might not turn out that well.
I guess I'll try it out on a Skink first.
 
I agree with sohcahtoa.
I already think your models are very well painted!
and if you ink them they would look even better!! :D
 
I love the red scheme for the lizardmen
much better than the GW standard blue scheme IMHO
mine are gonna be very similar to yours once I get them
keep up the good work :)
 
Hey this is my first post. I have to say I like this army quite a bit I particularly enjoy the pinkish slann. I have a question though where did you get the cool cold ones. Did you buy dark elf boxes and convert them or is there somewhere that sells those lizardmen with the cool cold ones as opposed to the cheesy looking ones I see to find.

These were bought at my local Games Workshop store in The Netherlands.
Perhaps check eBay to find similar models? But I think these are the standard ones here in The Netherlands.

You can buy both types in the UK, and I agree that the type in the pic look much better.

Thanks on both accounts Stonehambey, I like the plotting toad too.

Well hopefully Warhammer Canada can start distrubuting them too, although I hear dark elves are getting even better cold ones when they are released with thier new book.

Maybe we'll get the new ones when we get our new book :rolleyes:
 
I think the slann and the new skink priest both look kinda of funny, but the rest of your army really deserve my congratulations.So CONGRATULATIONS.Hehehe :P :P :P :D :D :D
