my painted lizardmen

the bone is painted bleached bone, then black wash, then sepia wash, finally skull white highlights
 
Hey, nice work... You forced me to start rethinking my classical blue colorscheme ;) I really like this colors.. well a little bit more greyish one would work better for me, but still... Crap... I hate to have such "bugs" in my head ;) Well, maybe I will try this on my TG during holiday...
 
I love simplicity, especially on the tabletop. You talked about keeping the troops simple. How do you make the characters fancier?
 
all my characters are black highlighted with bleached bone mixed with chaos black and i try to use a lot of bright golds and bronzes on their armor and weapons to make it pop and as for the slann well you can see from the pics hes a very fancy/bright character.
 
From the fluff this looks to be an army from the first spawning. They're all albinos. My army varies from dark green crocadilian to white like yours. So, my temple gaurd tend to be lighter and my regular rank anf ile darker. My skinks are painted all different colours like golden arrow frogs.

Really nice loooking models. The paint scheme as mentioned before is really simple but it looks awesome. Well done.
