sadly cant seem to get a good pic of the painted one.
I had an idea for abit of an extreme baseing using scibor temple heads and some GF9 concret
Does this look like it would work well once painted and flocked?

I like that base! The flowers that are visible in the grass are a nice touch. What exactly did you use for that?

I've got some of their grit and static grass and snow. Haven't tried the snow yet but the other stuff is great.

one thing I cant think of to do is I wanted to differentiate female and male salamanders,
the painted one is male the one with the baby is female(no I'm sexist comments please, seriously try and get near gator moms lol)
I figured make it the same basic color but wasnt sure if I should just make them all the same or maybe alter the scale and fin colors slightly
 
Probably just going to have to do different coloration patterns.

Heh, this just gave me a weird idea. Dress the skink handlers up in "Baby Salamander" costumes so they can get the mother salamander to go where they want. *chuckle*

oh they will match colorwise at least hah could try and replace their fins with a saurus's ridge hah
