8th Ed. My Saurus Old Blood won me a game.

Hello! I was playing my first game of Lizardmen against Ogres. My opponent had a 12 strong unit of ironguts. I charged my 8 cold one riders with a mounted old blood and the combat began. With his piranha blade he hit with 5 attacks, wounded with 4, and for his D3 woulds got 3, 3, 3, 1. He killed 3 ogres himself! Then the cold riders did 3 wounds in total because I rolled terribly. Because of that I ended up winning combat, running the Ogres down, and I fought the rest of his units which were much more manageable. Old bloods with the Piranha blades against ogres kick ass.

Aside from a lucky magic phase, that's out best counter against Ogres.

Well done sir! I almost never leave home without my Carnosaur Lord and he LOVES to munch on giant ogre units.

I once charged my oldblood on foot with 1+/4++ piranha blade and my sharpened stegadon into 8 (or was it 10...?) chaos ogres.
Let's say that the stegadon's 3 attacks were never even rolled for.
