Okay, in debate what to do with the Carno that was leftover from the box, being that I am using the rider for the Magma. I could just make the Trog model but I don't really feel like making another one. I want to use the Priest for something else.
What could I use the spare monster for?

Casualty scenery... Fire dragon for the lore of beasts... Wild carnosaur... I don't really know anything else you could use it for
And if you don't have any idea just take it to ebay

Use it as ... dadadadaaa... spare monster! ;)
I mean something lurking in the swamp slightly under control of your swamp lizards... Like a giant poisonous crocodile or something like that...

Why not sell it?

Pretty sure someone would buy a Carny/Trog without a rider

(me for one)

Hmmmmm, I will have to think. It could be a possibility to be sold, I was thinking of a conversion for Engine of the Gods but it seems a very out of place thing.

PM me if you decide you want to sell the Trog.

Hardly any painting has been done lately, college work and other issues popping up, also been putting Galrauch together, I wonder where the rest of his spikes go, his horns don't look right but pictures are not very clear. Putting some Wulfen together and starting to piece a Cold One for the Chaq'Kai
The Chaq'kai seem to attract nice attention with one of the players at the workshop and she wants another game. Her two dragons vs the Chaq'Kai
At the moment I am trying to think what colour scheme to go with for the Cold One's, making sure it fits well to the fluff.

Pretty sure you will suss that out.

More talking and no work, been busy again. College and putting miniatures together at a Always Strikes Last pace. Just picked up my Bretonnia Lord on horse.
Already have the idea of painting in the colour scheme of the Grand Army from my stories (need a proper name for the army, still in development) the schemes are still in development so it's the debate of gold-yellow and white. Or maybe go with the gold-yellow still but have a brown/ bronzy colour. A dull orange/ brown. Hard to describe.
So far I have the horse based in white and then the brown added to the fur.

Slann model is almost complete, I say almost because I tend to go back and fill in little details if I missed them.
The other two models are still in works, the rider for the Magmadroth and the horse for my books. Took about 5 layers of white to get a strong colour.
I was going to take the pictures in a better position but the phone makes an imaginary shadow in the picture when adjusting. This spot in the workshop didn't make the weird shadows.

The slann's seat looks great.
For the horse, why dont you prime it in white?

Palanquin looks great! I really like the colour of the little skink on it.

I don't have a prime white, Citadel don't do a pot version. I don't use sprays either, all hand painted. I should really get into spraying, will really save time.

I found my can of unused white spray. Problem is that where I am, it's freezing at the moment. Good old sea breeze. I will have to wait till it gets warmer. Not sure if workshop will do the spraying for me out back if I bring my own sprays.

The brand "Army Painter" has a whole range of different spray priming colours. Perhaps it could save you some time and effort...

I use Army painter and it saves quite a bit of time, for example my skeletons will be sprayed with "Skeleton bone" then washed and then drybrushed, you can spray around 60 models in 30mins, just take your time and allow time between coats otherwise you will lose the finer detail.

Got my can of black primer spray, I really be needing it too. Got a large model commission to do and the spray will make life easier. Just got to wait till the weather gets warmer.

Mostly been slowly putting the Wulfen together and tapping my claws away at how GW likes to tempt me with more goodies. Being that Pestilens are my fave clan from Skaven and they tempt me with box set savings and the new book (apparently with updated rules)
I think I am going to drown in miniatures.

I should be getting around to either the Magmadroth, the Bret Horse or painting some Skaven, but I don't know.

Haven't been able to find a good picture taking spot. Painted some Skaven at the workshop.

The middle one is almost complete, just need rechecking over and some mud painted onto his base. The robes are a white with a mix of brown and green shade patches. Cream-ish fur.
I'm planning on doing mixed colours for the army, as during the time going through the book, I saw a painting of one of the characters and I really loved the colour scheme.

On the back of the Skaven Pestilens book, it may say 'Order Battletome'. Can't stop laughing at the error.

These skaven look great! Paint job makes them look so sickly which is fantastic!
Order battletome? Pestilenz really broke away from he rest!
