Thanks
I'm currently working on a newer design for Ataxa and model. Been very slow progress.

Model time!
This time an Araknarok Spider. I done this for a contest in the store, I had to drag myself after college into the store to get this fella done-ish. You don't want to know about the spiders sticking to my fingers when I tried to glue them. And the many spikes I had to paint, so many of them. Within that short time limit too.

Very nice, Archie is looking to buy that model tomorrow when we go to Warhammer world :)

Now I remember why I once was afraid of spiders... ;)

I have Arachnophobia yet I paint spiders, felt creepy handling it too. Still waiting for results from the contest, well they did just do Armies on Parade.
Anyway

Almost one Plague Monk down another 19-24 (can't remember) to go. I went with a white robe with a mix of Earthshade and Camoshade.

Working on the Skinks, really need to finish painting my Lizardmen, finish these off and another...... 20+ to go? I don't keep count how many I have. I did a mix pattern of brown, puts variety into the Skinks.

Tetto'eko WIP, I've been looking at different coloured constellations for his colour scheme, green constellations for the skin and red for the scaly cape. The red messed up a bit when putting white dots, will fix later. Mix of green and blue for the skin with pinkish-red eyes with a white dot.

He looks so cool! That green/ blue combo is really awesome! That blue vein up his arm has this look of straining to conjure something big! That red compliments that gold really well too! Really awesome! Can't wait to see the finished work!

Looking good so far what are you doing with the gold?

Painting the accessory parts like the staff and pieces on Tetto. I will be going back over to alter areas with different colours.

Are you doing the gold method they use in the AOS painting guide?, I really like how that gold looks and use it on all my minis now.

I never saw the guide, I might go and pick one up when I get the chance. I could go online but I tend to forget, like the multiple times I forgot how to paint my army. Plus being moved to a new spot in the house, so I will be having pictures and guides everywhere on paint schemes and stuff.
When I do my gold, I highlight with a hint of silver.

Basically it's this.

Base Balthasar gold, recoat Gehenna's gold, wash Agrax earhshade, layer Gehenna leaving the deepest recess, layer Sycorax bronze, highlight Runefang steel.

Many thanks, I will be going to buy some paint soon anyway, do a daily adding to the collection.

I've also got some Beastmen to paint too, done Malagor with a skin colour, just got to work out the rest.

What colour did you do him, light?, dark?

So dark and mysterious clothing?

Not sure myself, Beastmen have been a little difficult for me.
I even came up with another theme for my Lizardmen, well got to split the models evenly from the lists.

No update this time, busy with college. Hard to paint models when the lightsource is a bedroom light.
But I have been working on plans for my new theme army, only consists of certain models. Mentally planning the story and doodling a picture.
I soon hope to get around to painting a miniature for this, it will require converting for some models. Adding extras on.
