I think I will also use toy dinosaurs once I have about 2 GW stegadons, so I get some variety between them. I´ll just get the kit for the castle on top and sell the monster (or maybe make the castle out of scratch)
 
That would be my only reason to get this model... The howdah... ;) For now I try building on from scratch as I have some material lying around at the moment...
Here is what I did to the toy dinosaur... It should have a more"natural" look than the original, which is purple for some reason you can read on the first page of this thread...

And I did some basing work on my kit bashed old blood ... His name is Gor Loar, cause of the wings on his helm and a French company selling unhealthy things in packs with a winged helmet on them. ;)

Was trying to blend from red to white on the side of the base... Good area to practice! ;)

Nice base trimming! Will the screaming skink get a shield?
 
Oh... Yes! Still figuring out what kind of shield I'll give him... Normal skink shield with some extra bits, saurian shield or a self made square one... I might also try to give him a blowpipe on somehow ... Maybe with a belt over the shoulder?
 
I'll try that. There is some cutting necessary, but might work at least for one side... Maybe the other is already too destroyed...
 
Don't know if it will work, but I looks good so far... Now I have to make a second foot for him ;)

They look good! The skink reminds me of the dance of the song rasputin :D. And the stegadon is missing a wash :shifty:

Here a small update on the squatting... Ahm... Sitting skink... Somehow I think I should start making that potty for him! :D

Small progress... Had to finish my script for my instructor license test in may... Deadline for that was today so it took till four in the morning... :/
Gave the crouching guy a proper weapon and changed the position of the arm a little bit. I'm still not sure what to do with the other arm. A shield? Or maybe just an empty hand?
And I started making the extra equipment for the lava back...

The flyer shield could also be an option for the crouching guy...
 
It looks real cool! You could make the other hand leaning on a rock so he seems to have more stability, there is an artwork where one sink has that position
 
These are both incredibly epic poses! Fantastic action! These dynamic poses will definitely be a great addition to your army!

Just did some painting today...
Decided to make the crouching guy blue with a red belly and grey back scales. Not so sure about the crest... Right now it's some flasomething flesh... Cream colour... Maybe more yellow could be a good choice?
