Ok... So here is the plan... For the red parts of the skin which be the same for mount and rider ill use this colours
WP_20161105_10_53_44_Pro.jpg
The rider gets blueish green skink were he's not red... So I thought I use these colours
WP_20161105_10_54_19_Pro.jpg
And the Dino will hase a brwnish beige skin tone... So I plan on using these
WP_20161105_10_53_56_Pro.jpg
Scales of the rider are going to be brown or grey, but still not sure about the dinosaur.. First I thought green, but I'm not sure if that's too close to the riders skin...
Thoughts and suggestions are extremely welcome and appreciated at this point. ;)
Now I'm of to a wedding or baptism or so in a church two hours away... See you later!;):P ...I hope they have food there! :D

Hey awesome models!! :joyful::joyful:
Also good paint scheme. Just watch out and remember that if you add too many different colours there should be something about them that brings them together (like the final highlight or washing or a colour mixed onto every basecoat). If not the model will look fractured and it´ll be hard to look at.
Just something to take into account. ;);)

Good point... Maybe I'll do a thin glace of blue all over the rider and drybrush the red parts afterwards... Something like that... We'll see when I got so far...;)

Nice!
What happened with the rex´ head? It seems the paint chipped away. Have you primed it?? :pompus:;)

Let's say touching the mini when the painting is not completely dry has not only the effect of dirty fingers...

I'm not sure if I should dry brush the scales as intended... I think it looks quite nice as it is... Will just wash the skin a little bit I think... And then the small details like teeth ears and the bling bling... Already did the eyes...
... And again my phone betrays me and I'm unable to upload anything... Maybe later... :-/
I try again...
Fail again...

my Rex's mount so far.... still heavy WIP... that model looks nice even unpainted, so... ;)
Still unsure if the downside of the tail should be green, too, or more like the skin tone... also some general work on the skin and especially the head is needed... but i'll take my time... ;)
Den hier!!!.jpg
And here the Colossi so far... I'm using the same colors all three of them but on different parts off the model... and the green for the skin also varies a little bit from one to another... You know i like units consisting of individuals... ;) might be a reason for me taken years to get on unit done... good this one just consists of three individuals! :P

What do you think? how do you like it? Comment tips or good advice for me? Just get them down here! :P

Love the rex! Excellent choice of complementary colours! Looking forward to seeing it finished!

The rex colours are really nice the green and red look like some form of candy combination but in a good way it looks exotic so cool to see makes a change from the green cold ones. and keep up the colossi they look a heavy kind of brutal with that colour scheme.

Fantastic~!!! :artist: I like how you do the scales. Great highlighting, I don't have that much patience

So... Not much painting today (actually already yesterday here;) ) ... My fingers needed something else to do... Took the opportunity to make some experiment...

You see there is a not so small gab between the shield arm and the body of my new oldblood... Someone told me that gabs like that could be filled with glue! I just thought I'd try it!... Used the super glue gel I had lying around... Let's see how it works! ;) ... Chances are good cause it's not actually not holding anything... The arm was glued to the body and the gab was filled after the glue had dried ...

Not only @Mrs. NIGHTBRINGER makes cakes! Here a coproduction of my wife and my sister made for my daughter's birthday celebration today in church...

Was an overnight session till two in the morning cause of the spontaneity of the action and (I've been told so...) minor quality of the fondant... But nonetheless a cool cake for our little princess! :D
