AoS Need help building 1500 pts for Escalation

Hi guys, new player here. I have a small handful games under my belt but I've lost several in a row so I feel like I'm clearly doing something wrong. If someone could help me build a 1500 point list from my available models for my game tomorrow, I would be very grateful! My local game store allows proxies so if I need to play my Oldblood as a ScV for example, I can.

Here is what I have:

Skink Starpriest x2
ScV on Cold One
Saurus Oldblood on foot
Troglodon
Bastilodon x2
3 Kroxigor
6 Ripperdactyls
15 Saurus Knights
10 Chameleon skinks

Thank you so much for the response! I have to apologize, though - I accidentally listed Razordons as a unit I own but I meant to say I have 6 Ripperdactyls. (I wish I had razordons, I'm just struggling to find some that I can afford.) Any suggestions for a list with my corrected army units?

There are a few things that make this list strong. Having a battalion gives you an advantage on dictating first turn. This can be very impactful on certain battleplans. Ripperdactyls are probably the best unit in our army. Razordons are a close second and would be preferred over Bastiladons though.

The second list has a lot more reach and striking power. You should be able to play the objectives with your Chameleon and Standard Skinks while your Rippers and Bastiladons remove priority targets.

As an aside, can I just say you have a fantastic username? Lol

Well, I took a quick lead but lost in the last half. This list is definitely MEAN at a distance but my forces crumbled once my opponent (gitz) reached melee range. And I think I blew my ripperdactyls on the wrong unit; I focused his mangler squig but I rolled poorly and it decimated them when it was its turn to attack.

But, lessons were learned and I know some things to do better next time. Next week is 2k against undefeated Nighthaunt so I've got some research to do!
