So here's what I'm not sure about:

Say it's your turn and it's the combat phase. Your unit (doesn't matter what it is) loses, breaks and flees. It doesn't get run down.

Next turn another enemy unit decides to charge the fleeing unit, what happens now?

1) If the charge "connects" to your fleeing unit, the unit just automatically dies.

2) The fleeing unit does a "flee reaction" and rolls 2D6 (non-swiftstride unit).

3) Should the charging unit "connect" it's counted as a regular charge and your unit is now in combat.

I believe it's #2... but I'l let somebody with a book in front of them verify this.

Say it's #2.

If the opponents charging unit should connect afterall does the fleeing unit then automatically die or is it just regular combat?

#2 is correct. A fleeing unit has to flee if it's charged. If it's caught, it's destroyed.
