AoS Need ideas for 1500pt event list

Hi I need some help with list ideas for an event I was thinking of attending. Its a mix of matched and narrative play, Im not really sure what that means, they have not explained the narrative part. List requirements are just a Vanguard +500. I will not have much time to paint before the event, so Im limited to my already finished models. I might be able to squize in enough time to paint one unit or so, I have every unit availible and ready to be painted.

I would wait to the event to choose the realm that best fits the narrative of you army. Or, you could choose Ghurr and say that your Slann is leading a group of skinks who specialize in taming the wild beast of Ghurr's jungles.

I have signed up for the event now, it will be held by the end of the month at a convention.

I modified the list a little, switched the Astrolith and 10 skinks for a engine. I love stegadons! Do you think that is a mistake?

I agree. I think the Astrolith Bearer won't be missed too much in a Shadowstrike list.
Only the Razordons will miss him a bit.
