Need ideas for slann conversion

Awesome idea. That is a real blast from the past. RAFM's old "Reptiliad War Turtle" from the early 80's! I used to have that (probably still do, deep in the bowels of my parent's basement). I used it in Grenadier Games' old wargames rules set, back when it made total sense to have skeletons, lizards, and orcs all fighting on the same side! ;)

It's on sale at FRP games for like $10, and Reaper does a similar one for their Reptus line. WAY COOL! Good find, N810. And my hat goes off to the sculptor!
 
I know you said you'd already got a lore of life slann, but this image from another blog/thread is kind of inspiring for a life palanquin:

That's pretty damn awesome, too. Could have a sprawling, mystical tree trunk with leaves holding him up. Could have branches/roots coiling around bad guys and tearing them apart, too!
