In fairness I reckon we could never bring down a dragon anyway. Skink poison is not as big a nerf as I first figured.

I am thinking that salamanders might have some play now. With the new missions focusing on infantry, being able to template them could be beneficial.

Swarms could also be good at objective holding, being unbreakable. Ark of Sotek might be useful now as well.

You could play 4 swarms more instead than ark of sotek...simply don't play it is soooo bad.

I agree salamander are interesting, especially if renegade. I am going to try 1. They cost a bit too much to have 2

Skinks still put in the work. I had 3 units of 12 vs ogres and they were taking down 2 ogres/ironguts a turn due to good dice roles. Im gonna try swarms and park them on a objective to see if they can hold

Assuming they are hitting at 4+ (which would be difficult) 36 shots equals 6 hits which wound on 4+ (3 wounds) and 12 hits which wound on 6's (2 wounds) with the ogres armour saves to come. So knocking two a turn out is pretty good rolling but possible with a few additional 6's.
