Terradons are flimsy in combat. Carnosaur MC make more sense.

They could always buff up the terradons or make a new type of terradon that is a basic flyer, but more beefy.

I doubt they'll make flying MC.

Ah, but Terradons already are MC in 8th edition (rule book, pg 157). They just aren't the "smash your face in just by looking at them" variety that some other armies have.

That's pretty much why I'm thinking we won't get heavy MC if we're also getting terradons and presumably a dual kit sort-of-terradon or something. But then, Daemons got 3 new chariots (ish) and three more chariots in their pre-release wave, so maybe... Oh, and a second type of MC. So actually this could work out quite well.

Maybe the plastic terradon head, is not actually a terradon.......

Isn't the carnosaur already in finecast?
I seriously hope he is wrong about only 2 plastic kits.

Seems to back up a previous rumour... Urgh. Think it's gonne be a real missed opportunity here with just a plastic re-release and one new item.

I was hoping they'd at least fix the models for Cold One cavalry, those things look terrible.

If the price is the same as the phoenix does that mean it wont be on the big bad ass monster base (terrorghiest/stonehorn) . I hope that there is more that this guy doesn't know about else this will be a cheap buy for me book, cards and bastidon

This had really better not be the full release. No new infantry, no monstrous cavalry... ugh.

I think we should take it with a grain of salt; from the blogger:

Well as much as a let down as only one big new box may be think of it this way they still need to add something more than one big monster. So could be a sign were getting sacred spawnings back to add to the diversity as well as a new lore for us by the look of it!

i talked with a shop owner. He said that GW send him a list with the things he has to order for the august release:
    -army book: 39 euros
    -magic cards: 4,50 euros
    -skink priest: 15 euros
-bastilodon (in italian is "bastiladonte"): 46 euros
    -carnosaur: 65 euros
    -terradon riders: 45 euros
    -gor'rok: 20 euros
    -tetto'eko: 40 euros

if this is true i'm quite sad... no new infantry, no new monstrous cavalry... and why should we want to field gor'rok?

gorroks only problem in the last book was his point cost. but if that list is true it is very disappointing. heres hoping the terradons and the bas thingy are duel kits

come to think about I was talking with a store manager (gw) awhile ago and he said something about wishing for a bigger carno maybe he knew something

It that is true, I'm very excited! Now we just need pics.... The terradon/ripperdactyl sound like what I was wishlisting earlier too. Won't know for sure until we see the rules though. Optimism rising!
