Agreed! hope you are able to read fast! VERY FAST please! If you looked at the site of Games Workshop the terradon models have spears, so i am almost certain they have!

I'm pretty sure a lot of folks have said it doesn't stack with other wards, which means whether you get it in combat or not is a complete irrelevance as most units will get parry anyway.
I disagree. With a 6+ ward save from the engine you don't need the parry save, so you can take the free switch to spears! Just my $0.02.
Tetto'eko allows for vanguarding d3 Stegadons/Carnies according to Faeit. If this is true then Stegadons are now even more ridiculous!
Ok last post on this forum and then i am done with lizardmen The engine of the gods nerf was the last straw. Seriously stop making everything bound spells or atleast make them decent bound spells like the tomb kings casket. I thought that the engine would have been changed from D6 S4 hits no armour to 2D6 S4 hits flamming but increase range to 24. But no, they just went and made it useless. The ancient steg might still be viable (well as viable as a steg can get in a cannon dominated meta) but the engine just sucks. They have nerfed things that just didnt need to be changed at all or even need to actually be improved. Enjoy the book guys but this is the worst release since lizardmen.
Can someone tell me if its possible to field a Skrox unit with the Kroxigor in the front rank, or whether you can field them in horde formation with the Kroxigor in the 3rd rank. I can see uses for both these formations - putting the Kroxigor in the front would protect the skinks, denying your opponent easy kills and allowing the Kroxigor to benefit from the Predatory fighter and stomp rule, while the skinks provide static combat resolution and deny steadfast (assume no skink command models in this formation). Kroxigor in the 3rd rank would also make sense because they wouldn't be attackable but would still be able to attack via the horde rules. Sheesh, Vangarding dinosaurs sounds very nasty indeed, its just a shame that it will be a pty big game befo you can get tetto and a carnosaur in your charact allowances. That's true for new players, but since Handweapon and shield has been the combo of choice for the last two editions I can't ally say I'm about to rip off the arms of 60 Saurus and replace them with spears.
Agreed - that and free Spears just means that Saurus Warriors have no reason to take hand weapons anymore. I'd also like to chime in with some points regarding Saurus and Predatory Fighter - Saurus are midlevel combat infantry. That means that most of the time, they will be fighting foes they easily outmatch but are outnumbered by (Goblins, Skavenslaves), or foes that beat them, but are outnumbered (Chaos Warriors, White Lions). This means that in either case, your opponent is testing on Steadfast Ld, or you are testing on Steadfast Ld, and thus the downside of Predatory Fighter is irrelevant. In the case that you do have to pursue, it essentially means you got lucky in combat, in which case you WANT to pursue (in order to capitalize on your good fortune). I think people are making a mountain out of a molehill on that front. What I do share in complaints, though, is that playstyles for this book seem a tad narrow. Not that many units strike me as slam-dunk choices.

They only put chameleons up by 1pt? I was expecting at least 3, that makes me happy, but it does just reinforce my belief that they weren't serious about balancing the army at all, it looks like they just picked a few points values at random and modified them up or down slightly, the Slann is the only thing in the army that has changed very much.
