imho I love it! I think he looks cool. Sure the pose is lame but I say half the fun of making characters is converting them and this guy will be my new general....well with some modifications of course ;)

According to the GW staff at the store I go to it won't apparently come with any weapon variation but it will come with limited look variants which I took to likely mean a couple of different heads or something for a little customization room

Has GW ever made a Horned One for an Oldblood to ride on?

The only horned one I know they made was the skink hero they had a a Regiment of renown (Tichi-huitchi???). This was just an alternate head to the standard 5th/6th metal skink-ridden cold one model.

It would't be hard to follow GW's example and just add 4 horns to an existing cold one model. Unless you really hate them I would probably also make it a DE cold one model if you have LM cold ones or vice versa, just to emphasize the difference.

imo a truly terrible model, looks like a saurus warrior out in fancy dress. Not menacing or fearsome, just clunky and gaudy looking. But hey, each to his own!

I not a fan of this model at all, further more his pose will be hard to alter seeing as some of his toes are actually on the base not the model.

I know that, but i don't need to use the body i only need bits and pieces of it but is still all the same. I do agree with the fact that they could have made him look better but parts of him imo are really cool and would be fun to use on a model :)
