AoS NEW *rumor*

Looks like GW really wants to sell Chaos Spawn models.
 
That book is going to be annoying. Rerollable, 2 or 12 autocasts and spells cast by the book caster can't be unbound if they're autocasts? Using it with a Lord of Change is pretty much guaranteed.
At least we can try to unbind the book.

i wouldn't be to worried its just a 1 in 23 chance and we couldn't unbind a 12 anyway. the only time its scary is with a LoC but he has to be careful not to mill himself to death and due to master of magic he would only benifit from the 12 and as stated above we can't do anything about that.
 
If we don't get news tomorrow, what is your guess for release frame for Seraphon? (Looks like Psychic Awakening and Tau for now) February was my original guess, but now it seems more like March-April...
 
Scary? No. Just annoying.

Some talk over on another forum about the Sigils wording being that it can affect ANY unit with the damage or buffs. That'll be an interesting mechanic to play around. I wonder if you can use Fate dice for the roll to determine what its ability is.

if nothing tomorrow then if they keep to the current pattern a week after KO/Tzeench comes out is when the next thing gets announced.

If i recall correctly the Saurus Warriors we have now are from 2002/3 and not 94. They got a revamp with 6th Edition, but yeah 2003 is still relatively old, i mean look at the Eldar for example, they still have miniatures from 2nd Edition 40k....

fair enough my store manager told me they where older then that but either way thats a long time to wait
 
yes the Saurus were terrible idea. First of all, the Old Blood is a Saurus himselfs.

But he looks like different species to saurus warriors.

In some ways I regret the money and time I have spent on my 2 Seraphon Start Collecting boxes.

The trogladon and Carnosaur, are really nice models. The Saurus models, just don't fit in the AoS world. The Saurus legs are tiny, at least half the thickness of a bloodreaver's leg.

That being said, after painting the saurus knights and warriors, i am kind of ok with them. I really like how easy they are to paint.

I didn't buy seraphons for myself. But just thinking I could have 2 boxes of Slyvaneenth, Nurgle, Karadons, BCR or Ironjawz instead is kind of painful.

The start collecting Seraphon models are good, but when you compare them to newer sculpts, you get a supermarket own brand sensations.

Yeah it certainly is a long time to wait, i think the oldest miniatures in our line apart from the Saurus Warriors are the Chameleon Skinks, Salamanders and Handlers, they are all from the same release. So they are certainly due, but theres quite a few factions, apart from the Skaven, that use some miniatures from the 6th Ed. era when many of the plastic kits were released.

Personally I would love some new minis and certainly hope for some, or at least that they release some of the finecast ones in plastic. I would love to get my hands on some of the heros or the Kroxigor in plastic.

But as I said, looking at the Eldar for example, GW's attitude to update their lines is quite iffy sometimes.
 
I'm going to put on my skepticals and say there will not be a Seraphon announcement tomorrow. For AoS, we're likely to see more KO/Tzeench and maybe a new faction announcement. I would love a Seraphon announcement though.

Nah, let the wild speculation and wishlisting continue guys.
Besides, they definitely will announce the new faction, just like they did Gloomspite. They also annouced Carrion Empire at the same time. So there's nothing stopping them from doing it again.
 
I personally think it will be Kurnothi’s full army release that is to be announced tomorrow, but if GW are really focussed on getting existing armies updated, it could still be Seraphon.

Looks legit, which is stupid because GW haven’t even released the Dark Angels vs Thousand Sons Psychic Awakening yet, let alone this upcoming Genestealer Cults vs Tau one, and Sisters of Battle crap had already been announced a long time ago.

However, maybe something for AoS will still be announced besides the Beastsgrave warband.
