meh, spawning pools imho would be a weird terrain piece. I mean, why in the world would we be making a spawning pool on the battlefield? Those things are sacred, difficult to make & easy to corrupt. It'd be super weird to start throwing them around on random battlefields.
 
But if we look at the Skaven preview from open day last year, there were no Endless Spells anounced aswell, though they showed us all the new minis they put inside the battle box.

So no new minis but maybe spells? Remains to be seen in the further previews that await us.
 
I'd have liked plastic updates but tbh im happy with just a new book. The old one was so out of date that few things in it were actually still usable rules wise.
 
There is still a chance we are getting endless spells - ones for StD were revealed only with preorder announcement.

Anyway, I didn't personally expect new models for us other than a hero, but all the heroes are part of dual box sets, so meh. I'm pretty content with my current collection. A new hero could be nice, but really, which one do we need? We have plenty and most of them are redundant. I would like to see master of the skies and skink chief back, but they don't need new model (well, getting MoS as a separate character would leave you with two terradons which you cannot use, so not so great idea in the end).

Maybe, one day this will be our turn to get renewed range, but not now. It's disappointing, though, that StD got new troops while the old ones were still pretty descent, if not better at certain points. And we are stuck with our dear to the heart but ugly boys. All we are need is just a new warrior box with option to makethem temple guard, new cold one knights box and new scar-veteran on cold one. But, ok, we have what we have.

I really hope, that the new battletome will not be about Saurus hordes. I'm ok with eternal guard, knights, skinks, flyers, big dinos, just not the basic saurus hordes, please.

P.S.: It is ironic, that the rumor that started this very thread appeared almost true, but a year-long shift. We are in February, not in March and we are indeed getting a terrain piece (just not the spawning pool) and we are getting the subfactions. Ok, now only the dinosaur spirit spells is the only thing that left.
 
Previews next week, the week after that Preorders and the release thereafter, so three weeks time at max
 
Might be.

IIRC at the LVO of last year the Sisters of Battle had a preview as well... So it could even last till end of this year before its out.

If it is Februari though you might be Right.

So possibly tomorrow 25.01 or on Monday 27.01 will be Faction Focus (Seraphon or HE_2.0), then another FF and in the end of week Pre-order announcement.

Im guessing this will be one of those fast releases. The Warscrolls are already shipped, the Tomes might be too aswell as the terrain piece.
I think they want to get everything out of the way and have all the factions updated before March.
Pointy Aelves will be in the boxset with the Sons of Behemat, reveal at Adepticon.

At least thats my prediction.

two spare Terradons do come in handy when one on the field dies. So you have 3 to summon again instead of waiting for all 3 to die
 
Wow!! Nice!! Finally!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy for the new battletome :)

But... Really? Did they just reclycled the old Saurus banner? That is just super disappointing for me indeed. New models and terrain look much better than this in general. However, not showing Saurus Warrios makes me keep hope. On the other hand, reusing the old banners make me think they won't.
This is my bet (super fantastical):
- New saurus warriors (but cold ones would kindda odd) (so actually not realistic :( )
- New salamanders (they deserve a good refresh, and I even read something about they discontinuing resin...)
- Spells
