The Fifty Shelves looks like my collection Slowly getting there though. Did anyone notice the amount of Skink Handlers he had, probably over 20. Teasing us with many shots of the Seraphon. Also noticed Skinks next to the Cold Ones, there is two that looks like they are from the Stegadon kit.
But fun list =/= bad list. He could bring firelance with 20 knights, fangs of sotek, eternal starhost or 3 carnosaurs. And the StD guy, bringing Archaon... Probably, indeed they wanted to show strength of chaos.
It could at least be a list that'd make some semblance of sense, the list he used is just a random collection of stuff. I mean taking warriors and skinks at half strnegth (20 and 30) is just weird for units that only (somewhat) work at either maximum or minimum strength. That's by far the weirdest part about that list...
Do you think GW will go the route of pre-painted minis?? Or do you think they're just going to start having more colored plastic like Shadespire warbands? Or maybe they'll allow people to request what base color they want minis when they order? Or maybe GW will offer painting services on the site?
I have a hard time imagining that they will sell pre painted minis. Their business model seems to rely on selling paints and other painting related stuff to a fair degree. Mayyyyyybe they will use more of that colored polystyrene to have the models in base colors that are easier to overpaint.
well... I'm 45% happy. I Had just started to get into the Fyreslayers, and now the new book, and teased new battalions. nut I'm not invested enough that I cant adjust if the Battle tome breaks what I have. (Literally painted and assembled NOTHING for Fyreslayers, just have a start collecting and two boxes of Berserkers ready to go when I finish my Primary Army... our lovely lonesome forgotten distraught annihilators of all things chaos.... damn we are like the lost puppy you see in the gutter of a south American ghetto.... just waiting for a little bit of love to SHINE!
Because Slaanesh has gotten 2 things recently, with W&R, and with this newest bit. I would like to believe they wouldn't throw more Slaanesh at us.
But Khorne did the same! I just didn't expect Slaanesh before Darkoath. Seems like they are coming one after another.
More daemons? Um... o...kay...? Huh. Guess they kind of needed a book though, they were one of two Chaos factions that still had nothing, and the theme for this half of the year does seem to be Chaos. Still, it would be nice if they'd throw us a bone...
In secret releasing more demons constantly is actually the great plan for GW to puff seraphon, as the more players playing demons, the better our sunclaw battalion, bastis and charmeleon skinks become, also this makes the only spell the slann (master of magic my... waffles) has somewhat useful as it only affects demons. Let's see how Slaanesh likes 3dmg per shot bastis and 2dmg rend -1 attacks from basic saurus. Very sneaky GW. Although it does not seem like GW to just drop a lot of screenshots of seraphon in a new marketing video like this at random, someone chose that Seraphon should be the main focus and take up the most space. Sounds like grasping at straws but I somehow don't think I am looking back at previous GW videos and teases.
I think that aaaaaaaand ~insert rumour~ gues they want to make seraphon look really bad. They are in desperate need of a new battletome. Im 100% sure we’ll get one this year. But the question is when? Im guess before the summer
Has this rumour engine been identified yet? "we’ve scaled new heights of secrecy in bringing you this one…" https://www.warhammer-community.com/2018/12/11/the-rumour-engine-11th-december-2018/ Still hoping we get some new releases and that is the reason we are still the oldest battletome... Might also just be an endless spell dino of some sort
I bet for autumn. Just a gut feeling, nothing else. Naked Dwarfs are coming, and then Slaanesh, and then Sylvaneth, and then Darkoath/StD, and then Ogors... etc, etc.
They flashed the shield that is associated with their paint lines. I took it to mean an expanded range of rattle-cans, plus maybe some army-painter-esqe dips along with prescribed painting steps. I feel like commission painting requires too much overhead for slim profits, plus there is a strong built-in private sector for that. Colored plastic could make sense, but once again, custom plastic pours requires some flexibility at the factory, the overhead would eat any profits there as well, barring a STEEP custom color fee.
It's because they had too many unsold Seraphon boxes laying around, they made good fodder to build and fill shelves for a promo video /s
Warcry - I don't know if we will ever get into Warcry, nor anyone non-chaos. I tend to think of it a system more like Necromunda, for Chaos Warbands with game-unique models, instead of gangers, and less like Warhammer Underworlds or Shadespire or Killteam, where they link up better with the main IP games.
annnnd... having said that, i now see this: Completely proving me wrong in one fell swoop. There will atleast be Orruks, SCE, DoK, Flaming Skulls?, Vampires/death, More Orruks, Gobbos, and Deepkin? All in addition to what appears to be 6 Chaos warbands. wow ok now i am feeling it. Seraphon is actually starting to feel a bit like a late-game squat then a continuing AOS presence.
Rip our hopes and dreams of a March drop. Was really hoping GW was going to come in clutch for my birthday March 23 :/ Now I'm worried it will be awhile before our book.
