    meh, they don't necesarly need to retcon it, but they do need to explain it to the reader. Even if it's a relativly "weak" explenation like "the old world was too infested with skaven and we were just doing pest-control by blowing up the world" or some such. Just anything that's more of an explanation than "cuz the old ones/slann said so".

    That is an interesting rumor Engine. Looks vaguely Oriental in the design. Like the old carved oni faces or lion dog statues.

    Could also just be more chaos.


    Don't worry too much about it. Much more of a loose form topic centered around new stuff. Lots of tangents in here.

    I'm going to say it's the giant army SoB. But I've seen people saying that it could be a chaos dwarf shield. However from the look of it, it seems that it will be decently big

    Well, they did confirm March for Sisters second wave. Likely an okay'd statement from higher ups. It still doesn't set a precedent to trust them on release dates.

    Yeah, chaos dwarfs is the first thing it made me think of.

    Maybe SoB are eastern oni's? It also looks a bit like south-east asian giants/monsters, not just the japanese oni's.
