Sounds like a plan as long as I still get half points if the slann in question is only left in a permanent comatose state
Only one slann? Not a particular fan of the new SCE. Models are nice enough, but SCE already have some considerable model bloat. This would introduce their 5th or 6th basic line infantry? Cool and all to have choices, but at this point a good chunk of their army is always going to be redundant. Full blown new edition seems rushed, especially with covid. Some factions will basicly never have gotten to play in real life with up to date 2nd edition rules as their tome released during lock-down, plus some of the newest tomes are barely a year old. Would've been nice to at least have a couple of years with stable & up to date rules for everyone. Really curious why they're so happy with the double turn, would love to hear an actual motivation for that.
Yes, it’d be great to see the one-eyed evil lizards get some long-deserved attention, especially with necessary lore alterations to keep them PG
Yep, I also find this quite concerning. The video from the article emphasizes how there's little room for ambiguity around rules but I'm very skeptical of that, considering the piles and piles of interactions they'll have with rules from existing tomes.
Curious how summer ghb and 3.0 will play off each other. Any guesses on 3.0 release date? I've heard september/October which makes sense if kragnos is still more than a month away. Either way, excited for the changes. The game could use some better terrain rules if nothing else.
https://www.warhammer-community.com...odlines-are-noble-but-only-one-has-wolf-paws/ Looks like it's Vampire Week this week so the very earliest news about Kroak will come Sunday? And that's more wish listing than a probable time frame
Rumors i have heard suggest that the gap between belakor/kragnos is more like the gap between morathi and teclis than teclis and belakor. I wouldn't be surprised if pre orders are still a few weeks away at least.
New launch box will the SCE, versus an unknown opponent. Don't mind the SCE, they haven't gotten attention in a while. But a different matchup would've been nice. If only because the SCE have had 3 boxed sets already.
SCE will probably always be in the starter box just like marines are always in the 40k starter box. Rumors point to hobgobbos + wolf riders as the "unknown opponent" but who knows. I'm hoping for Silent People personally
More like July-August, and I'd expect early leaks. They usually announce a new edition in like 6 weeks before release.
SCE vs. feral (Destruction-aligned) Seraphon! Just kidding, but who knows how Mortal Realms: Kragnos will end. More seriously, a friend of mine heard rumors that it will be "swamp-orks."
I would cut my fucking dominant hand off and sacrifice it to the gods if we got a destruction faction of seraphon
I like how you are thinking It will most likely be a Destructon force to take up against the SCE. I am putting my money and hopes on Ironjawz or Orruk warclans in general (they can use an extra custom hero) Grrr, Imrahil
Blood knights rule reveal Nice enough statline. Riders of ruin is neat, nice little cavalry ability. Bit oddly phrased though. Almost seems like you'l only do damage if you started within 3" of an enemy. Which can't be right. Might be a tad too powerfull though as it effectivly makes them impossible to lock down unless you fill up the entire board. The kastelai bonusses are neat. Though I can imagine this quickly becoming problematic in certain match-ups. Especially as they can't be locked down into combat. Outmanouvering them is going to be difficult and that might make it far too easy for them to run up to a priority target to get one of these buffs. Also, their weapon choices are purely cosmetic. Which is new, given how different the two weapons are. Maybe this is part of their effort to streamline rules?
