Hmm I guess it could be a Krox head too. Ngl I want cold ones and saurus though.

Like you say, it could just be a generic animal.

They can't quite decide on a design for Krox can they...

Good direction with the croc head though.

The new one is miles better...

What a shame he comes with a Forge World price tag and isn't a customisable plastic kit...

Idk I think it's a bit coincidental that it's roughly the size of a cold one head and so far dragons have looked alot less feral than fantasy dragons.

I wish they would just use the total war assets when making the new models. everything looks so good in that game.

The Blood bowl saurus look fairly similiar to the Total war saurus, hopefully they maintain that style.

I just wish they'd make actual AoS kroxigor, instead of keeping them in bloodbowl for some reason.

Seriously. I always get disappointed when I see bloodbowl releases, meanwhile there's armies with 30 year old sculpts... Maybe I'm way off, but I doubt bloodbowl has anywhere near as large of a player base as AoS

I assume the difference is that a single model is enough for bloodbowl, whereas for AoS you need a full unit.

But you'd think it'd at least be possible to reuse some assets to create an proper AoS model from them given how easy they are to kitbash.

    Due
Simply due to the loincloth on every lizardman blood bowl mini, I don't like using them. Otherwise I'd have bought 20 boxes of them by now.

O look another Lumineth unit that gets to ignore a mechanic. This time it's ward saves.
Must be terribly fun to face these when you play Nighthaunt or something...

Elves' treatment by GW is truly a meme.

While this won't necessarily make the Windchargers overpowered, the constant Elf buffs are annoying. But really, this is how GW does things. 40k has been a playground-style battle of "I have an invincible shield!" "Oh yeah? Well I have an gun that ignores your invincible shield!" "Oh yeah? Well I have invincible armor that blocks your gun that ignores my invincible shield, and I also have a gun that ignores *your* armor!"

This is how I see AoS evolving. GW allows you to make some units nigh invincible with save-stacking. To combat this, they start to introduce more and more mortal wounds. Then, because mortal wounds are now the main source of damage, they start introducing more ward saves, including 4+ and 3+ ward saves. Then, because mortal wounds are no longer dealing damage, and they also didn't nerf save-stacking, they have to make ways to ignore ward saves.

Next, they will give some units a ward save that ignores things that ignore ward saves. And after that weapons that ignore the ward save that ignores weapons that ignore ward saves, and so on and so forth ad infinitum :p

Pretty much yeah. Though what makes it extra annoying is that GW also tends to focus on a only handfull of factions.
If you're playing one of GW's favorites your faction gets the playground powercreep. But the other factions are constantly left to play catch-up. For example, there's a good chance the ogre book won't contain any such rules if the last tome is any indicating (ironicly, the last ogre tome also released close to an Lumineth book, and ironicly the Lumineth gor some very ogre-ish rules in there as well)

First Tau railguns being able to ignore invulnerable saves, now Elf kangaroo rider bows being able to ignore Wards. Calling the BS on this one.

Ah, the Warhammer arms race. I know it well enough from the games I play, and it's sad to see it's getting worse in the currently-supported ones.

If it's any consolation, GW have been doing this since Warhammer Fantasy. It's proof that the 'new GW' is exactly the same as the old one, just with higher prices, far worse rules and only the bare minimum extra community support and FAQs they deem necessary.

Oh how good it would be to turn back time and return to the GW of more affordable prices, smaller-scale games and more interesting background.
