AoS NEW *rumor*

Loving the terrain piece! Hopeful that we get a new saurus model in the "coming soon" previews.... since a Saurus is on the cover and all!
 
I mentioned earlier that I read on TGA about an "astrolithic monolith" and wonder if this will be the name of this thing. If so, I suspect/hope this will become an important part of a revamped summoning mechanic which will in turn free up the slann to cast more maybe even go as far as to not needing to have one as your general.

Also, the fact that the old resin slaann, carnosaur & current skinks are in the image of the terrain is a clear indicator that none of those models are getting new sculpts. Not a bad thing though. I like all of them :)

They usually call a peek at the new rules a ‘preview’. At most, endless spells can crop up, but I feel like they’d have announced those today too.

The book is good enough!
 
BTW, that lizard thingie previewed for Blackstone Fortress could easily be used for some conversion...hmmmm....

edit: it's apparently called a 'zoat' lol. The vid has a misderective nod/wink at Sons of Behemat as well. Too bad they don't know people have found out about them haha!

Depending on the rules it might be better to double down on summoning.
 
Jeeeeepers there are a lot of insane reveals going on here.

I am thrilled we're getting a tome, but our announcement pales in comparison to those Aelf and Skitarii models. Robo horses with flamethrowers for mouths? Are you kidding me? Seraphon can't compete.

Imagine the possibilities if that modeling talent and budget was spent on our aging Lizards.

I...um...have...like all of it to paint. When I got an airbrush I stripped my lizards and then kinda fell out with the game. So I have like...um...4 of every behemoth, 12 razordons, 3 salamanders, 40 warriors, 20 templeguard, 60 skinks, 9 rippers and 3 terradons to paint. :X
 
and no mention of a new hero sculpt since the only 2 who didn't get one are orks/cities im hoping that there is more to come
 
This is a great morning!! and I am just 10 minutes out of bed!

Overjoyed with the new Battletome, still we need to know what's inside and how it works out for us, but damn its here!!!
