AoS NEW *rumor*

If I had to guess, something to do with the established lore of how dreamed-up Seraphon will eventually 'coalesce' into physical beings if they are allowed to remain in the Mortal Realms long enough.

You heard it here first: The Coalesced will be one of our sub-factions that sacrifices summoning or magical ability for increased combat brutality.
And hopefully we will be able to take as allies more factions (and not only SE)

"You’ll have the chance to find out how the original refugees from the world-that-was became the celestially charged Starborne, and how the Seraphon are changing into the Coalesced – whatever that means."

What do you think that means guys?

Perhaps we will get more lore about celestial daemons? as it stands (i havent read deeply into the current seraphon battletome) we don't have a whole lot of knowledge about other non-chaos daemons right? perhaps that what "the coalesced" refers to.

hmmm they didn't have saurus in the zigarat pic and we feature on the front of the book with armor i would not give up hope yet

Yep thinking the same. Saurus warriors are iconic to Seraphon, they should be next to Ziggurat. Current Saurus don’t have shoulder pads, piercings or the chest plates on the cover... But Blood Bowl Saurus do, which they have the sculpts for. Maybe not right now, but we might get new Saurus in the nearer future. Finally no mention of war scroll cards as evidenced by the shipping slip- so it could be more than the ziggurat and battle tome.

I want to believe this, but I think between the Aelves, the Sons of Behemat and the 40k models, there are far too many new sculpts coming out at once for me to think that we'll get more than what's advertised.

The others are not yet visible details so there might be more in here.

I love this! Shoudln’t we make a sticky with all the rumour engines and solutions with them?
Decifiering the the cosmic engines/ stars like some Starpriests?

Sweet, we finally got an updated battletome! It looks like we got a "skaven" update (book & terrain, but no models or spells), which is about what I expected... but I secretly hoped for more. Still beggars can't be choosers, as the saying goes.

While the ziggurat is very classic, it's a bit plain with reused Seraphon bits. But, that might make it easier to paint. I wonder if GW will replace the Astrolith Bearer with this terrain piece?

I know this is so petty, but scrolling down from the reveal of those great looking Hysh Elves, all I can think is what might have been with new Seraphon sculpts. However, I guess I understand putting more time & creativity into new AoS unique armies... oh, and Chaos.

Skaven did indeed get endless spells, so they've got that one over on us. Same with Beasts of Chaos. One thing we do have over the skaven, though, is that even our oldest models are still resin and plastic. They've still got some pewter models they're left with.

Depending on the lore update, I'm going to be looking for alternatives to the Saurus, Skinks, and Kroxigor since I'm they're old style doesn't really hold up to the larger-than-life AoS stuff (The Sauraus Warriors are about as wimpy looking as Ungor, for Sotek's sake!)
