Check out the threads on modelling and painting for some help there and the lists/tactics section for gaming. Lot’s of helpful people around who can answer any questions, don’t feel like any are too stupid. It’s a very friendly environment!

Ive gotten a game in with a current list build I like. mostly built around what models look coolest. still in the planning phase but will post up more questions etc as things begin to materialize.
