Index NIGHTBRINGER - Master of Polls - Poll Index

It does have a fair bit of Lizardmen related content and (admittedly) a greater percentage of non-Lizardmen related content, especially as of late. So it's a mixed bag.

For now i would tend to leave the thread in its current postion.
Who knows, maybe in the next future there will be a new poll regarding fantasy (best new miniatures or something similar) ;)

Well I have nothing against this post, just, well I expect some updates about TOW opening this forum (or even Mordheim or 8th doesn't matter) but I found a bit of everything else..
I check other forums too but if maybe I have not much time i prefer just to check this one. Up to you but I expressed my opinion, I hope it respects even others.

P.S. In 8th edition WHFB, the Salamander is largely considered to be a more competitive choice than the Razordon. (@Killer Angel , this now makes this post relevant to the Lizardmen in the Warhammer fantasy sub-forum)

Oh yes, i recall them being decisive in a glorious victory against the despicable skaven. :D

Newest poll added to the index...

Who is your favourite Chaos God? (follow up poll) [created - 2024]

Another really focused lizardmen question…
My fault just forgot to unfollow this discussion

Are you still complaining? The previous post fits the criteria of the sub-forum (Lizardmen content) and I'm the original author of the thread (meaning that I have some leeway in conducting the course of the thread), so too bad, so sad!

If you want to raise an issue with the quality of the post, that opens you up for me to do the same with you. Not sure if you're looking to compare your stuff against mine. Tactical know-how versus tactical know-how. Forum contribution versus forum contribution. Even intellectual capacity versus intellectual capacity if you prefer. I'm certainly game.

I tried telling you as much earlier...

You know you can simply not click on the thread.

Please don't.
@Kalisto was merely observing that the trend in this thread was no more lizardmen oriented. Nothing about quality or contribution or whatever.
Let's avoid debates between us, shall we?

(And your fine print addressing Salamanders vs Razordons was merely an obvious trick to circumvent "the spirit of the law". Which i found to be funny, btw. :D)

Exactly. Nothing against you @NIGHTBRINGER or your posts. Myself voted on that pool that is quite interesting just to understood people's preference. However we can agree that it has nothing to do with lizardmen...

Yes, he did that way back here, 12 days ago. I did not appreciate the tone of the post, which I made clear in my reply. Now he again takes a jab at my thread. I don't need it pointed out that the most recent poll is not Lizardmen related. I understand the concept; no point in stating the obvious. No useful information was provided and it served nothing but to continue to escalate the exchange.

Furthermore, his posts come off as rude (whether that is the intention or not) and are unwelcome...

Sorry but I am personally a bit tired of these post in the wrong place.
I expect some updates about TOW opening this forum
Another really focused lizardmen question…

Stating that one tired of a thread that predates one's membership to the forum by nearly a decade is pretty bold (and annoying). Next we have the word "expect", what gives him the right to "expect" anything of me? Sense of entitlement? I've already conceded that this thread contains both Lizardmen and non-Lizardmen content in it. That's the way it has been, that's the way it will continue to be. Lastly, the final post of the trio was clearly sarcastic and inserted into an exchange that was already bordering on unfriendly. I don't think it is particularly surprising that such a comment invites escalation.

Please don't.
It was a warning shot; a quick acknowledgement that two can play that game. I'd prefer to avoid a nasty exchange with him, but my patience is slowly wearing thin.

@Killer Angel : I've been running this thread for just under a decade. It helps me organize the polls and helps others find them. It contains both Lizardmen polls as well as (a greater share of) non-lizardmen polls. That's been the nature of the thread for a very long time and I have no intention of changing that for @Kalisto . I create polls that I find interesting and that I feel may hold value to the members of L.O. The first post of the thread clearly categorizes these polls for ease of use. Meaning that if someone is interested exclusively in Lizardmen polls, it is simple to navigate and find them.

I think the thread does provide pertinent Lizardmen information for those interested, but it is also a mixed bag, with lots of non-Lizard content. As such, it doesn't particularly fit neatly into any one single sub-forum. As I said before, if it will stop the whining and crying, it can be moved. It will function just the same for me even if it is moved into either one of the General Hobby/Tabletop Chat or the General Chat threads.

The poll question obviously does not pertain to the Lizardmen. There is no reason to sarcastically point that out. Nothing is gained by doing so besides increasing hostilities. If you take a look at the first post of the thread, you will find that it has not been filed under the Lizardmen heading.

Oh, i agree, and that's why in the end I've opted to leave it where it stands.
