I plan to put it on a fairly small base, nothing too fancy. Maybe about an inch of extra basing around all 4 sides. I don't want it to take up too large a footprint on the battlefield.
 
Finally time for another quick update. I've decided against engraving the stone work with my dremel, I'm going for real stone like I did with my wall (back on page two of this blog). I still have to work on the door, but the house is ready for the stone work (which will take quite some time).

Are you applying the "stone" one piece at a time? Or are you carving mortar lines?
