Ah damit! Now I have to make a decision. Which one I like more: Greebo Or Punga Does anyone have experience with Patreon? https://www.patreon.com/pungaminiatures Can I only be member for 1 month?
Yes, you can. Frankly, you could sub, it would charge your payment option, you could then actively retrieve the files through whatever distribution method the creator uses (usually a mmf account, or a Google drive link) and then immediately un-sub to stop the auto charge at the beginning of the month.
I came to the conclusion that's the style of the Greebo once is better for the Turtel theme. Price wise is not a big difference. Never the less I stumbled over some Savage orcs from brutefun: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/fantasy-football-savage-orc-team-complete-bundle My pile of shame is becoming bigger and bigger
I understand your point but honestly.... We spent money for little plastic figures which we sometimes know we'll never paint. And often this money can be better spent. For your kids for example. And this is for me the point where opportunity turns into shame. But that's what goes on in my head and not your Problem.
Yes, it is my problem, In a way. I did the same thing as you, for a time. I also went through some shit awhile back which lead me to realize that I would tell myself self-negative statements. It's honestly so much easier to avoid negative self language ("my pile of shame" for example. A: identifies you as the subject. B: applies a negative (in context) word "Shame" to yourself.
Yeah, you are right! Shame is much to negative! But opportunity is in my opinion also not a good description. It's a pile of great models I bought because I like them and want to build and paint them. But the point I want to emphasise is: there are projects in life were money is better spend. And from the point on were you invest the money in to this pile instead of more important projects, it becomes a pile of shame
You can always make more money. You cannot make more time. If you enjoy the time you spend on the project, hell if you enjoy looking at the sprues in person, then its worth every penny. Regardless, if you need any help 3D printing wise, or have any questions, I make myself available as a resource.
I tend to switch between calling mine a pile of shame or pile of potential. I took the name from this cool site where you can track your projects - pileofpotential.com
Thanks mate, I will give the stl's to a friend when/if I buy this orcs, since I don't own a 3d printer.
Germany, a little bit far off to Florida. But thanks I just got inspired: Blood Bowl has some similar cards. Maybe I can convert the idea for my comic style painting
