I live in Huntsville Alabama, so UK based products aren't available.

@tom ndege I did dry the brush mostly off before dry brushing on the light green.

    Edit: can purified water work?

Just played a game with WoC (proxies) and OaG (proxies). My chaos spawn ran, and rolled a 5 for running, and two 6s for their normal speed. I could have cried.

    I am honored! :pompus:

There are a bunch of great sculptors on this site to be emulated, including @Rikard and @woogity.

As far as mini casting goes, I have had a bunch of experience casting extra models for the now-defunct GW Bretonnian line of miniatures, chiefly the mounted knights and the men-at-arms peasant footmen. If resin casting is something you would like to get into, HERE are the materials I use to create the molds and pour the resin.

I haven't cast any beastmen myself, though my brother has. Pending on how good your mold is, the tiny pieces won't show up well (such as horns or speartips), but considering the practice you have gotten creating your own these details would be easy to fill in with paint. The easiest parts of the minis to cast would probably be the biggest pieces, such as the torso, legs, arms, and maybe the head. Larger models (such as a full razagor or a slann) would be easier too on account of their size and round shape.

Your sculpting is off to a great start! They remind me of the dinosaurs I used to make, but never got very far...

The chariot dude is my favorite, the use of toothpicks/wood bits for the chariot itself is a great idea.

Thanks! It really means a lot!:smug:

I can't wait to try the GS. Everything I find on it makes me more hyped.

I really enjoyed making the razorgor. Maybe I should make a razordon?

And I would love advice:writing: on how to work with GS. It is hard to find anything on it. (Besides people showing a finished project)

My favorite tool to use when searching for painting and modeling advice (short of finding people at a local store or asking my brother) is youtube.

Here is a good one on making greenstuff scales:

And here is one for fur:

@Warden thanks! Quite useful! Now if the GS ever arrives...:shifty:

I am thinking of making a slann. I WILL NOT pay $50 for a model that simplistic. :wtf:

So I dug around in a box of my old toys, and look what I found!

    And a side view.
    20180101_132645.jpg
Here is one for scale (next to a mostly assembled CO rider).
    20180101_132630-1.jpg

All that I need to do is get rid of the fur (fill it in with GS), get rid of the saggy tits, and modify the head/make a new one.

    Thoughts?

Or if that one is way to big, then I could use the baby.

Could work. Could work quite well...

I wouldn't remove the breast completely on the bigger one... I'd only remove the nipples... cause breast feeding isn't for lizards (especially those coming from spawning pools or being remembered for star dust) but a Slann still is a big (and in this case more importantly) fat frog...
Also resculpting such a big area costs time and material...

"Such a big area" being the head?

    I meant the titts... ;)
The head should be no problem... can be divided into some smaller areas...

I (finally!) got my GS in the mail. I have mostly filled in the gaps in two CO riders, and I put a lower jaw on the Scar-vet's CO.
20180102_190613-1.jpg The one on the left has a new lower jaw, and the one on the right is untouched (jaw wise).

I think they look better with a bigger lower jar.

Jar as in jug, as in boob?;)

And yeah, I like the thicker lower jaw as well.

I could imagine that auto correct also provided 'jar' as first option for the next word and 'bings' as second one...:D

Especially if you didn't switch from German to English...:p;)

Not bad GS skills! very smooth and clean, it's not easy to achieve that in the first go. My advice is to sculpt in layers, dont try to do it all at once.

I'm really looking forward to seeing that Slann take shape

I am about half way done with the Slann's body.
    20180105_162709-1.jpg
And a view of the front:
    20180105_162720.jpg
It is hard to get rid of the line in between the old GS (last night's work) and the new GS (this night's work)

I need to work on his right side, give him a pot belly, and finally, I need to work on the head:confused::bag:.

For the head: try make the eyeballs bigger so that they nearly fill the space between the cheeks and the eyebrows... also the mouth ... both width and the volume of the lips... make two thin sausages (like 1-2mm) of gs and place them on the lips... then smooth the outside out and make a sharper gab between the lips... you could also smooth out the bridge of the nose... and of course some blown up cheeks... by placing small balls of gs on the side of the head and working them not shape... if you do so do the mouth after the cheeks... should leave you more artistic freedom that way...
And for the line between the layers... I'm also interested in the solution...;)

I am done (maybe some touch up, such as under the arm) with the body.
    20180105_175129-1.jpg

I like your idea for the head @tom ndege I may well do that. I don't really like how big the Slann's heads are, so I may make mine smaller.

Right now his skin is a bit too smooth I think. Try to add some wrinkles, you can take images of.... ehhh.... BBW girls for reference where those should be.
