Contest October-November 2017 Short Story Contest Entry thread (new entries closed)

I got a lot of last minute entries. You had me worried for a second guys. But anyway the deadline is still November 2nd, so there is still time for a few more..

I'm going to try to do some basic spelling and grammar checks on what I have.
