Was reading this spell description again, and it appears that you only get the buffed strength for "to wound" rolls. Kinda kills the spell for me, since it won't help reduce armor.
 
While that does suck, it would probably be a bit overpowered otherwise.
 
Yeah I guess it will be good for low strength troops fighting in large numbers.
 
Just as an update, the new FAQ makes this spell very good. Strength 8 Saurus blocks sound good to me!
