Painting Questions.

Hello all, I think I actually posted here before under a different account. Anyway, I am new to lizardmen, and I just got the Saurus Warriors Regiment. I have two questions about this:
1. What are some good color schemes? I am entering one of my figures in a contest, so I don't want to paint him like the rest of them , which have a color scheme like ThIs, but I want another scheme for the entry.

2. Does anyone have any really cool lizardmen theme ideas? Like Ice Lizardmen, or Chaos Lizardmen (haha no) or something of that sort.
