I have been painting since the early 1980's. While I have improved greatly since my first miniatures I have recently realised that while I paint very regularly, I have reached a point of stagnation. I haven't improved past a certain level. I would say my painting is pretty good but it doesn't seem to get any better.

I regularly watch some great content on youtube (Squidmar, Ninjon, Marco Frisoni, etc) to try and improve but it seems I have reached a plateau which is hard to improve upon.

I recently expressed to my wife that I wish we had some great painters providing tutorials here in Brisbane like the many I see available in Europe (Massive Voodoo coaching classes etc)

Typically Google, Siri, Alexa must have been listening. On facebook I noticed that Meg Maples from Arcane Paintworks is holding a two day course at a nearby Gaming store in the coming months. Well I have jumped at the chance to try and increase my painting knowledge and skills and have booked in for the course.

I am really excited to be attending and hope that it will lead to great improvements in my finished products.
