@Titchy_Stryder, I love the vibrant color combinations and it's such nice work. That's very clean painting. I'm envious. Plus, I really like the "Coach Kremit" miniature, and I think it could be a decent Slann proxy (naturally). It looks like a pretty good sculpt. What did you think about it while painting it?
Thanks for the kind words! The Coach Kremit miniature from Warploque is great, it's one whole bit of resin, clean up was minimal, and it was a joy to paint. I think it would work well as a Slann Mage priest proxy (will probably use it as such myself if I'm taking Kroak and a Slann at the same time!). You could get quite creative and create a palanquin or something for carrying it or giving it the impression of hovering depending on aesthetics
Although Seraphon is my main army for AoS I also have a Nurgle Daemon army that I can use for both AoS and 40k and I’ve just finished painting this guy
Been working on my Bastilodon with Solar Engine over the weekend. Coming together quite nicely. The beast handler caste of my skinks will be an orangey red colour to distinguish them from the soldiers (purple), flyers (yellow) and priests (blue) but they all have the same scale colour to tie the army together.
That is some massively fine painting, I like the smooth highlights and the intricate details from the eyes and gems Keep up the good work! Grrr, Imrahil
Thanks for the kind words! I'm really enjoying painting this model. Not sure what I'm going to paint next? I could go some Saurus (though I might limit them to a batch of 10 as painting 20 Skinks was soul destroying), some Terradons, Rippers, Kroak? I think I'll probably go Terradons, and paint up 3 to start with. I've got loads of options as I have the Starclaw Strikehost box, a box and a half of the original Start Collecting, Engine of the Gods, more Skinks (shudder). I'm working my way up to the big one, Dread Saurian, as a prize once I've got the guts of a useable army completed (plus I want to be able to do it justice).
