So I'm going to document my painting and re-spawning of my lizard men.
A brief history:
I started warhammer 5th edition, playing lizardmen and having an innate feel for them against the snobby Bretonnians. It was hard in Ireland since there were 2 GWs at the time both a good 2 hours drive away from my 10 year old self. Still supported by my parents and with a local gaming club starting the Hobby flourished.
With 6th edition and the revamping of fantasy I boxed up my old Lizardmen and re-spawned using the awesome new plastics. Metal terradons were still evil. I kept my old 'sailed' salamanders. Queue 7th edition and university. I didn't manage to play my lizardmen at all I think. Here comes 8th ed. Get kurb stomped by 2 anal power gamers, have a couple of ok games, not really into it.
A few years later after getting married and moving I made friends with some RPG geeks who also played and I got firmly ensconced in 40k. Things and people move on and I ended up helping to found a wargaming club where decent people play fantasy. Lizardmen were getting an update and the rest is history - I got the special edition book and gor-rok, sold my old terradons and hybrid cold-one riders and old metal stegadon, I did a massive order to update my army and adding to what I have now I have this to get through:
