Blog Pinkies Paint log: Terrain for the terrain competition added

5 more saurus warriors done last night, bringing the total number of finished saurus warriors up to 30. I'll see if I can't finish up another 5 tomorrow.

Ancient bases sent from Polen today. Guessing I'll have them some time next week, like Wednesday. If the mail order is don't stop in the weekend then maybe sooner, but at any rate they are on their way so I'll have the soon =]

Yeah I'm really looking forward to them! :)

35 saurus warriors done now. I'll see if I cannot get my last 5 warriors done before receiving the bases.

You good sir are an unstoppable painting machine!

Apparently so haha. I just bought Age of Wonders 3 so I'll likely be playing that with my friend later while painting.

Oh and a minor idea for minor conversion haha - I don't particular like the top part of tetto'eko's staff so I've been considering to change it with the following: http://www.bitzbox.co.uk/product_info.php/empire-wizard-staff-top-p-2409

I just asked my group and maybe someone have a left over.

It seems fitting for the master of the comet of Casandora!

My thoughts exactly :p

Someone I know know of someone who have 2 of them so I can buy one. Won't be soon though, but now I know where to get it :)

Bases can be picked up tomorrow at the post office so pictures soon

The Slann is nearly done and ermahgerd it's so sexeh :smug:

The base is really looking great with the model, looks so good. I just need to actually do the oxidized copper and I'll be done with him. Shouldn't take long so tomorrow I'll definately have pictures!

Oh and my slann is a metal slann including the throne and uhm.. well the pin that is holding him in their air is super reinforced because otherwise I couldn't make it stick back when I made him the last time. It looks *kinda* dumb, but in the unit of TGs you won't actually see it lol. I've tried and make it as .. natural or anonymous as possible. You'll see what I mean once the picture is up tomorrow.

*edit*

Because the base is so big I'm actually considering to add some extra stuff. We'll see though, just very minor things to make it look a bit more alive

the tails are from spirit hosts and the "balls" are green stuff. Quite easy to create and can be used with many miniatures.

Ancient bases on 7 saurus warriors and tetto'eko. It always surprises me how much the base really makes everything come together. The bases do, however, take a bit of time since the stones need several layers of paint (base - wash - wash - drybrush - drybrush) and then there are the leafs and stuff, but overall I'm loving the bases.

Dude, bro. Awesome work. Reminds me of the Slann that is melting heads in the 6th edition book :D

Thanks :D Now you have me intruiged. Need to check out the book haha.
