8th Ed. Piranha Blade...?

I have a question regarding the Piranha blade magic weapon.

Example: A Scar Veteran charges a unit of 20 Night Goblins. He makes 4 attacks, scors 3 hits, and wounds three. He has a strength of 5, so the goblins do not get an armou save.

In the example above, do six goblins die or just three?

You get double wounds, not double hits. So you only kill 3 guys doing 2 wounds to each.

Its two wounds on the actual model you hit, it doesn't spill over. So if you are using it to hit single wound models it doesn't do anything special, its only good against multi-wound models.
