I have been lurking in the jungle for quite some time (this website has been seriously useful!) and thought I would poke my scaly head out and introduce myself. My name is James and I'm from the UK.

Three of my friends and I are in the process of building up 8th edition armies for a weekend long series of battles in October at Warhammer World in Nottingham, and of course I chose the Lizardmen. We're hoping this will roll over into many more similar weekends - I'm not ready to give up on 8th edition!
Anyway, I shall be posting some army lists for you to tear to pieces and some painting updates shortly.

The Old Ones always rejoice when a lurker joins the active community.

We should be able to meet your needs for gameplay advice as well as painting and modeling advice and inspiration. We have good fluff and art too.

I wholeheartedly concur! I think it is safe to say I am a late adopter, considering the game is no longer supported! But my friends and I are determined to stick with it. Communities like this will certainly help :)

It's great to hear of new players getting started with Fantasy. That is the very thing that will keep the game alive and relevant. I look forward to your contributions!
