What is immune to poison in warhammer? Are warmachines immune? I played against a high elf player who said my chameleons could not poison his bolt thrower... But there are crew! But its the bolt thrower's toughness! Any thoughts?

yes you can 100% poison a war machine, steam tank, greater daemons, etc. Just about everything but the Ogre Butcher is Susceptible to poison.

That is why Skinks with blowpipes and Chameleons make such awesome warmachine hunters.

Indeed, this is an easy one. Things that are immune to poison have a special rule called, surpriseingly, "Immune to Poison". Since warmachines don't have that then they arn't immune.

The high elf player was likely still recalling previous rules where war machines were immune to poison. Given that HE bolt throwers also got reduced to 2 wounds in 8th ed, there are a rare sight as they can die quite easily to skinks or just about anything else out there!!

To my knowledge, the only models that have the immune to poison rule are Ogre Butchers and Slaughtermasters. maybe a few skaven models have it as well.

Warriors of chaos and dwarf characters can get it rtrough items too.

Vampire Counts have an item too. But with the new book, that has been removed.

I think.
