Knock the item on the floor and lap up the puddle on the floor. That is one of the Ten Commandments of Cats.

Hmmmmmm.....
Seems like a subheading of:
"Thou shalt rule the high peaks and knock down anything that challenges your reign"
Since they knock down anything they can.
I prefer the more modern translation of the Biggleworth's Cat Bible over the more anachronistic and poetic Kitty James Cat Bible. There is a lot of scholarly on the best ways to translate Ancient Meow which is almost unrecognizable from Modern Meow. Supposedly the light-hearted and celebratory Meow Mix song used to be based on an ancient war chant commemorating the Punic String War of 500 BCE.

Ahem...
Speaking as an Orthodox Felixianty member, I respect your interpretation of the Good Purr as I believe in respecting all faiths.
I will mention, however, that Biggleworth was known to have canine traits and was in fact a follower of Canislam.
I’m sorry.
Bur you have to know.
Blasphemew! May all non believers be cat into the great uncleaned litter box where the red dots chase thee!
