Poll: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate Age of Sigmar?

It's probably not what you think it is... although it is very close to it. At the time of the poll I had rated it a solid 2, as it still had nice models. However the lack of points, silly rules, poor fluff and an extremely simple tactical system were a huge downsides for me. That said, I could conceivably imagine that there might exist a game out there with extremely poor rules and utilizing ugly models, so I felt a 2 was justified instead of a 1.

Today, I would probably give AoS a surface level rating of around 5 or 5.5. AoS is a fully fledged game now and they have released some truly unique and beautiful models (Kharadron Overlords and Daughters of Khaine for example) with decent fluff. Of course, it is still a far cry from the mighty rating of 9 that I gave to 8th edition WFB!

 

Having played the second edition extensively with some mates, I have to say i give it 8/10. if my golden skelly bois had actually been brought into the game with all of their majestic splendour instead of the quasi samurai-egyptian asthetic of the bonereapers, that would be a 10/10
