Also, since they were nerfed in AoS, the prices on Ebay have come down a little for most units. A few units like Settra are still uber expensive, but for the most part they are a bit more manageable now.

I would be pretty surprised. I think GW is going to move in a different direction, although I have been wrong before. The ways of GW can be quite the mystery.

I think they used quite a lot of aesthetic elements people associate with Tomb Kings for the 'new' undead guys from the city of Shadespire, the Katophranes. I noticed when the Shadespire game was released that the promotional material prompted many "Tomb Kings!!" reactions as well.

None of that looks like Tomb Kings to me. Unless I am missing something.
