I assure you I would never stoop so low as to create what now would have to be 4 other accounts (to make up the 5 Prequel votes) just to answer this poll.

Additionally, I don't think all of the currently 6 Original Trilogy supporters have come forward either - I assume you haven't used multiple accounts either? ;)

I agree, that is why I shall rally them thus:

I respect you for that, good sir. :)

Episode II is the worst of the PT, but III is BY FAR the best of the prequels.

You are a Skaven general aren't you? Cunningness, deviousness and deception are the tools of the trade for the rat-folk! ;):p;)

But some have... on the PT side we only have you.

For the OT 4/6 have come forward = 66.6%
For the PT 1/5 have come forward = 20.0%

    :D

Original Trilogy is the clear victor in my mind not only by creating the setting that everything else works off of, but also in just sheer film-making, practical effects, and grand story line that really didn't need anything else to support it. I will cede the point that episode 6 isn't all that great and was already turning into the toy marketing machine it would become, what with the ewoks able to take out advanced lifelong military troops, and a second death star because we couldn't think of anything better. I still watch 4 and 5 every year or so and I love them.

When I was a kid I liked the Prequel Trilogy, gradually grew to dislike them when the internet said to do so, but I'm back to enjoying them for their alien, ship, and world designs as well as duel of the fates. Qui-Gon was fun and I like episode 2 and 3 Obi-Wan. Terrible cringy romance and nonsensical character development for Anakin that retroactively makes Darth Vader worse IMO.

Haven't rewatched any of the Sequel Trilogy. Basically most internet complaints match mine. Lots of design work were either retreads or uninspired, plot jumps between the three movies without a good through-line, and repeating Palpatine was dull compared to a more character driven story with the conflict between the pre-existing major characters. Just how evil that final sith planet was is cool but also doesn't especially mesh with the rest of the universe as depicted in the films.

Mandalorian is great, Solo was better than I expected, Rogue One was fun, haven't watched much of the animated other than the original 2d Genndy Attack of the Clones.

Don't listen to his advice, you would create a negative feedback loop.

If you take Lord Agragax's advice and reject advice from people on the Internet and think for yourself, you would have to reject Lord Agragax's advice as it came from the Internet.

You can trust my advice on the Internet though.

Pretty low vote count yet, but at least the ST is still coming in with a big fat zero.

Hypothetically, I tried to figure out why someone would give the Disney trilogy a vote apart from trolling.

I thought about their redeeming features. They set up some cool things in episode 7 and then dropped the ball.

I really liked the idea of an ex-stormtrooper character but they never tugged on those storytelling threads.

A female Jedi protagonist could have been good if she had a traditional hero's journey arc with training and struggles.

Kylo Ren could have been a good villain if he didn't get defeated every time he fought Rey.

Fasma could have been a good character if they let her have some early victories (like Boba Fett had) as opposed to get captured easily and then tossed in a garbage chute metaphorically and literally.

    • poor taste
    • SJW
    • trolling
    • significant brain damage (Rian Johnson)
    • extremely young kid who doesn't know any better
    • major holder of Disney stock (I take that back, the ST is killing the cash cow... maybe it is somebody with stock in a competing movie studio)
    • someone who hates Star Wars and is happy to see it burn
    • family member of Kathleen Kennedy who is wishing to stay in the will
    • masochist who likes mental torture

There might be others too. I even have to acknowledge that someone without any of the above might simply like it (even though I could never understand why).

    Sounds like a whole bunch of could've, would've, should've... DIDN'T!

I just finished the PT last night and my judgement so far is:

    - I disliked the first episode. This realy felt like a set up movie, to have more backstory to the next episodes.

    - I liked the second(apart from the rescue attempt of Obi-Wan by Anakin and Padme and the scene in the Arena)
    - The third one I liked as well.

    Grrr, Imrahil

Right, who was it that voted for the Sequels?

    WHO WAS IT? SHOW YOURSELF!

(Joking, if that's your opinion, that's fine :))

I've long maintained that the prequels are by far the best movies for memes, and of the prequels, Episode III stands at the very top in terms of memeablity.

    Of course it is fine...

    *hastily prepares order 66*

Kidding of course. It is fine... perplexing... but fine. To each their own after all.

    Someone voted for the ST?
That's cool. It's okay to be wrong. I'm wrong about stuff all the time. Except Star Wars... I'm always right about Star Wars. ;)

(Of course this is a joke)

I'm such the odd ball. I've actually grown to think of Ep. 1 as the most "Star Wars-like" of the PT. It still isn't a great movie (to me), but it felt the most like an adventure. Ep. 2 & 3 just felt overloaded and disjointed. There isn't much pay-off for me in Ep. 3.

I will add that I think part of my issue with the PT is that it isn't a contained story. You have to watch other media to get the "whole story." That might be good for Lucasfilm/Disney to encourage fans to watch this or that animated series, but I think the story line of the PT suffers some as a result.

I never really thought about that in relation to the PT, but you make a very good point. If you haven't watched the Clone Wars mini-series (the classically animated one, not the CGI one), then the beginning of episode III is quite a mess.

    Especially General Grievance.

As well as confederates, Commander Nefarious, Captain I'm A Bad Guy and Admiral Bone To Pick.

I despise his dumb mahrlect name. His lack of exposition. His stupid wheeze and the subpar actor reactions to his CGI. Ewan McGregor is a fine actor, so I blame the direction. His response to the CGI things in front of him were not convincing. Who Framed Roger Rabbit had superb coordination and that was an early 1990s film so I know the cinematography know-how was there.

I think I dislike General Grievance more than Jar Jar.
