I was actually thinking of saying that Groot is a puppy and Grogu is a kitten. Dogs act cuter than cats but cats are intrinsically cuter. Dogs do, cats are. Before the internet, dogs were in media a lot more than cats but after the internet (and still photos became more popular), cats are seen a lot more than dogs. By pictures alone I have to give it to Grogu, but I'd rather watch Groot do things than watch Grogu do things.
That's a great scene. I really love that movie. I'm one of the few people that likes part 2 better than part 1 (although I really like part one too!). That's a good assessment of it.
The tape thing reminds me of when my friends and I played the West End Star Wars RPG. We always made it a point to carry duct tape. Even with futuristic technology and space wizards, duct tape still comes in handy from time to time. It goes without saying that any urban fantasy game set in an alternate present, you want duct tape. In D&D and D&Desque games, the equivalent is 50 feet of silk rope. But you potato, patoto.
I find it amusing that Disney did not realize that had a hit with Baby Yoda and were not able to get his toys out by the first Christmas season after Mandalorian. I think it was because baby Yoda was not Kathleen Kennedy's idea.
